This book is so real, it feels like you are looking at the world you live in. I especially like Wang Lifa in the book. Although he is a bit selfish, he has a good mind and has been working hard to run the teahouse business. And I think Mr. Lao She's portrayal of each character is so delicate. Like Kang Shunzi, the part where she was sold to Eunuch Pang to be his wife really made me feel bad. The plots in this book are very exciting, which made me understand the life of that era better. I think this is a book well worth reading.
The language is easy to understand, the beginning is plain, and the end is shocking.
