The characters in this book are so distinct! I especially like the character Wang Lifa. He is kind and shrewd. He has been working hard to run the teahouse, but he cannot change the darkness of society. And the storyline is so engaging, it feels like watching a wonderful drama. The various aspects of life in the teahouse allowed me to see the epitome of that era, which was really touching. There is nothing to say about Mr. Lao She's writing style. He can portray the characters vividly in just a few sentences. All in all, the book "Teahouse" is well worth reading!
