The Evil One Rules the World

Xin Fan, a disillusioned young man from the modern world, jumps into the sea and is reborn in a high-martial alternate world. He turns his life around, clears his name, avenges his great wrong, and wins the company of beautiful women, ultimately becoming a legendary Evil Emperor. Xin Fan is just like his name suggests: troubled and disheartened. After jumping into the sea and being reborn, he arrives on the Floating Cloud Continent, thinking that with two lives behind him, he can change his fate. But his fortunes are disastrous from the start. His father, siblings, and the rest of his family are all wiped out overnight for the baseless crime of treason! See how he carefully plans every move, turns the tide, and washes away the shame of his family’s unjust fate! “The people have suffered for far too long!” Look at the halls of power: treacherous ministers hold sway, while behind vermilion gates, the meat rots, and those inside have no idea the world is starving! Look at the land beyond the martial world: bones stretch for a thousand miles, corpses lie exposed in the wilderness, and no one knows the harshness of life! The realm is divided, and chaos rages without end! The people have suffered for far too long! I, Xin Fan, will act with “evil” and hold an “unruly” heart to set the land right and remake the world! So the people of this realm may at last know peace, and I may ascend to the peak of the Evil Emperor’s throne!
