A Record of the Anti-Japanese War in Ji-Lu-Yu

The victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War holds great historical significance. Viewed from a historical and dialectical perspective, this painful chapter in human history was a huge disaster for society and a catastrophe for human civilization. At the same time, however, it ushered in a new era in human history and had a broad, far-reaching impact on the postwar world. It helped bring about a relatively peaceful era based on a balance of power; furthered national liberation in some colonial countries; led to the birth of many socialist countries; encouraged economic, political, and social reforms in capitalist countries; advanced science and technology worldwide; advanced military technology and theory; brought about a great revolution in human understanding of the world; and deepened people's understanding of peace.
