After the World Became Data, I Maxed Out Defense

“Humans are too fragile. They see a mountain and call it majestic, see water and call it deep. Even when they meet another person, they want to stop and spend whatever time they can leaning on each other. But once my experiment succeeds, that person will no longer be fragile. They will transcend all of this!” A deranged man danced around, gesturing wildly as he rambled to a room full of instruments. He failed to notice the young man behind him raising a gun. One shot pierced the madman’s head and also put a hole in one of the instruments. A chain reaction triggered a massive explosion. Blue waves spread across the entire world at the speed of light.
