A Bizarre Nursing Home from the Start

Chen Ran was a magnet for bad luck. Though he had graduated from a prestigious university, he kept hitting dead ends. After he failed a job interview and was kicked out, an inheritance fell into his lap.

Just as he thought he could finally say goodbye to being a penniless loser and become a nouveau riche, he discovered that his inheritance was a nursing home, one located inside a Taoist temple deep in the mountains.

What's more, everything about this nursing home was bizarre, and it was full of strange people.

An old Taoist priest with one arm who kept shouting for an ice-cold beer, named Wu Song; an old woman who looked seven or eight years old but claimed she hadn't had blood in ages; a down-on-his-luck scholar named Bohu; and even a foreign old man with the surname Te who loved tinkering with appliances...

After Chen Ran went to great lengths to escape the nursing home, he suddenly discovered that the Aima electric scooter that had come out of it could reach a speed of 800 miles per hour, and the jade pendant someone had casually tossed to him was worth 500 million.

So he ran back to the retirement home, crying and shouting, and threw open the door...
