Journey to the West: I Take Little Stone as My Disciple from the Start

Eighty years ago, at Five Elements Mountain, Dongfang Ming told a monkey demon a story about a journey to obtain scriptures.

Seventy years ago, at Fuling Mountain Cloud Stack Cave, he spent three days and three nights chatting with a pig demon.

Sixty years ago, at Flowing Sand River, he spoke at length with a man-eating monster about ideals and the meaning of life.

Thirty years ago, by the river in Chang'an, he found a baby about to drown. The baby's name was Jiang Liuer.

Years later, he became the Imperial Tutor of the Great Tang, and the teacher of all under heaven.

On this day, as he reached the age of one hundred, the dormant-for-eighty-years "The Human Race Must Strengthen Itself System" awakened.

That same day, a guard named Little Rock, a maid with a head of white hair, and a pageboy who spouted nothing but cheeky remarks all arrived.

And so, the journey to obtain scriptures gained a hundred-year-old Imperial Tutor and three strange young men and women.

A story of schemes behind the scenes. See how the Imperial Tutor toys with the immortals and Buddhas in the heavens, fighting to secure a share of fortune for the human race.
