The Last Werewolf Game: Liars Cast No Shadow

A fired subway security guard boards the last train and discovers that when someone lies, a piece of their shadow falls off. He must use this rule to survive until dawn among twelve people at a table.

At 11:58 p.m., on Ring Line Metro Line 0, a last train that does not appear on the schedule.

There are twelve cars, each with twelve people, one table to a car. The connecting doors between cars cannot be opened.

The windows are frosted. Outside is always the tunnel wall, and there are never any platform lights.

The announcement is made by a woman's voice, very gentle, ending every sentence with, "Please mind the gap." She is in charge of saying, "Lights out. Close your eyes."

The ticket inspector wears an old-fashioned navy uniform, his cap brim covering his entire face. He carries a pair of brass ticket clippers. When someone is eliminated, he walks through the entire train and clips the person's chest once. The cut does not bleed. The person instantly turns into a slip of paper, which he collects in his ticket wallet.

In the next round, the eliminated person's ticket wallet is handed to a survivor. Inside is the total number of lies told by everyone in the previous round. This is one of the biggest clues in the entire book.
