Cyberlimb Recycling: I Build an Army by Scavenging

Chen Jin, a cybernetic-implant recycler at the very bottom of Rust Harbor, spends every day dismantling discarded parts from garbage heaps just to earn enough for a meal. Then he discovers his talent: when he dismantles and reassembles damaged implants, they retain their original performance and gain an additional "Overload Protocol." There's no limit to the number he can combine. As long as he has enough materials, he can keep building.

Others spend thirty million credits on a military mech. He combines thirty discarded civilian exoskeletons into a patchwork monstrosity and crushes their entire elite squad. Sky Dome Industries calls him a junk rat, and the Rustfire Gang puts a bounty on his head. But they have no idea that, in Chen Jin's salvage yard, scrap metal is turning into an arsenal at a rate of twenty-three machines a day.

He's actually sick of it. All he wants is to dismantle parts in peace, but the things he builds keep piling up. If he doesn't find an outlet, they'll burst out of the salvage yard.

Then... he'll just send them out.
