Dragon Ball: Cornered by Frieza's Recruitment Offer, I Dance My Way Out

In the ruins of West City, Gavi runs into Frieza and his father. The Emperor tries to recruit him, then casually adds that once the job is done, Earth will be blown up like fireworks.

Gavi freezes in place. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees a blue frog excitedly hopping toward him. It's Ginyu. Once it sets its sights on you, it takes over your body. Sweat breaks out across Gavi's back as he frantically searches for a way out. Then he moves. He spreads his legs, lowers his waist, and launches into a flowing series of moves he learned from a certain Saiyan Great Saiyaman.

Frieza's mouth twitches. King Cold is stunned, and even Ginyu is dumbfounded. After a long silence, the Emperor coldly flings the frog to the ground, then lets Gavi leave with surprising courtesy. Gavi takes off running without looking back.

But the real trouble is only just beginning. There are only half a day left in Babidi's World Martial Arts Tournament, Majin Buu could break free at any moment, and the God of Destruction, who should have been the universe's last hope, is completely out of the picture. Gavi clenches his fists and curses under his breath, then flies toward the temple at full speed. One last door there might buy them some time.
