Great Qin: Teaching the Dao and Revealing Qin's Doomed Fate

After transmigrating to the Qin Dynasty, Zhang Yu binds himself to a teaching System. He can earn Teaching Points and draw prizes by teaching village children to read. His first draw gives him plans for a curved-plow and potato seeds. The revolutionary plow sets the whole village abuzz, while potatoes yielding a thousand jin per mu leave the First Emperor, Ying Zheng, stunned.

That's right: the middle-aged man who calls himself "Old Zhao," hiding in a farmhouse while munching on a baked potato, is the First Emperor himself, traveling incognito. Zhang Yu launches into a lengthy lecture right in front of him: from the First Emperor's childhood and his mother's betrayal to claiming that Li Si took the blame for the book-burning and burying of scholars; from explaining that Xu Fu's elixir was heavy-metal poison to saying that Fusu was led astray by the Confucians. Ying Zheng coughs up blood after hearing it all. "Why do you understand me better than my own sons?" Worse still, Zhang Yu bluntly tells him, "The First Emperor will die next year, and the Qin will fall. Zhao Gao will falsify the imperial edict, Fusu will take his own life, and Hu Hai will ascend the throne. The dynasty will collapse within three years. Liu Bang and Xiang Yu are both waiting for that day."

Meng Yi kneels, trembling. Ying Zheng grips his wrist. "Sir, come back to Xianyang with me." Zhang Yu looks at the Teaching Points soaring on his status panel and brushes mashed potato from his hands. "Sure, but let's harvest this batch of potatoes first."
