Pokemon: PWT Champion Enters Quartz Academy

In the final of the Pokémon World Championships, Li Yunyi defeats Wallace with a Paldean Terastallization knockout blow and claims the title of champion. But before the trophy has even had time to cool, the Arceus Phone gives him a new mission: "Make more and more people fall in love with Pokemon." So he declines the position of Unova Champion and heads for Kanto, taking a job at the newly established Quartz Academy as the sole teacher in the battle program.

On the first day of school, Li Yunyi looks over the class register and freezes: Silver, the Rocket Gang's young master; Gary, Professor Oak's grandson; and Yūto Seidai, who should have been in the Pokemon research class, are all his students. Even more absurdly, in the neighboring town there's a clueless kid who keeps running to the research lab and dreams of becoming a Pokémon Master. Their paths are bound to cross in the future.

Beyond everyday teaching, trouble keeps finding him: Team Rocket causes a ruckus at Mt. Moon, the radio tower in Goldenrod City is occupied, and undercurrents swirl through the Johto Region. Then Giovanni himself appears before him and sizes him up with a meaningful look. Li Yunyi has just one thought: teaching is more thrilling than battling in the Pokémon World Championships.
