Dragon Raja: Lu Mingfei Blows the Bugle at Brest in World War II

In his final year of high school, Lu Mingfei was kicked out of the classroom. A mysterious object fell from the sky and struck him on the head. When he opened his eyes again, it was 1941, and he was Vasily, a trombonist in the military band at the Brest Fortress. His mind was filled with unfamiliar memories, and Prussia could launch Operation Barbarossa at any moment.

The people in the fortress didn't yet know that a war about to swallow millions was already just around the corner. Lu Mingfei knew every passing day brought them closer to the end. The aunties who treated him like family, the second lieutenant who regarded him as a comrade, and the boy called Little Peter would all soon be swept up in the flames of war.

All he could do was desperately tell them what they needed to believe, while no one else did. But what could an ordinary man who had fallen from the future into the past possibly do to stop a catastrophe whose outcome had already been written?

And there was another complication: Valya had just been accepted into Moscow Medical School. Before leaving, she stood on the platform and asked him if he could wait six years for her. Lu Mingfei said yes. But from the moment she turned and boarded the train bound for the capital to the moment artillery fire completely swallowed the fortress, only a handful of days remained.
