Kamen Rider: Alfa from the Start, No Genetic Backlash

After transmigrating into the world of Kamen Rider Zi-O, Jiang Nan binds himself to the Source Force System. From the start, he gets Uncle Ren’s Alfa Driver: transforming turns him into a beast, and his wrist blades leave behind nothing but engine oil and metal wreckage. A passerby films him and uploads the video online: "What the hell, is that a demon?"

By day, he sits beside Sougo Tokiwa in class. By night, he hunts Magia to earn Source Force points. During one operation, he rescues a girl being chased by Another Kamen Rider Build, taking the monster down with a single mighty slash and earning 5,000 Source Force points and two Grease Fullbottles. Blushing, the girl gives him her contact information. "Big brother, I have to repay you!" Jiang Nan pockets the note and turns to leave, but Woz steps out of the shadows and presses a hand to the unconscious young man’s chest. Another Kamen Rider Build revives on the spot. Jiang Nan narrows his eyes. "Can elite monsters respawn twice?"

Before his death, Hiden Soreo entrusts him with a final request: "I’m leaving you as vice president. Make sure my grandson survives." Jiang Nan takes the Driver and glances at the sweet, airheaded Izu beside him. "All right, I’m on it." Aruto Hiden is still up onstage telling dad jokes when Jiang Nan kicks over the stage and grabs him by the collar.

"Stop joking. Your grandpa’s about to die."
