One Piece: The Contest for the Sun God, I Claim the True Divine Throne

Bullet was nine years old when the War-Torn Country's army was wiped out in an endless war. Only he survived by a stroke of luck, thanks to his Conqueror's Haki. A soul from another world took over his body and was reborn, merging with the original owner's memories. From then on, he would no longer be an afterthought on Roger's ship, nor a stepping stone for Luffy to smash with one punch in a theatrical film.

After spending a year stranded on a deserted island with a giant bear for company, he ate strange meat to temper his body and fought bloody battles. He reclaimed his family's ancestral halberd techniques and boxing, and mastered a movement technique on the level of Shave. After fighting his way through the outer forbidden zone, he also acquired the Wano Country's famous sword, Shiya, and the Shimotsuki Family's swordsmanship inheritance, transforming his strength beyond recognition.

But a storm was coming. The Rocks Pirates had yet to fall, the smoke of the God Valley Incident was gathering in the distance, Whitebeard was still roaming the world looking for sons, and the Golden Lion was sharpening his blades, ready to overturn the world. Bullet had never wanted to be anyone's crew member. In the name of the Devil's Descendant, he would tear open a path of his own across these seas.

While the legend of the Sun God Nika still slept in the future, a Bullet who refused to let fate decide his life was already standing at the edge of an era.
