One Piece: An Atheist Angler Who Topples the Nika God Myth

After Jerry transmigrated into the One Piece world, he bound himself to a fishing System from the start. A Grade 53 textbook dropped on him and gave him the rookie version of the Three Types of Haki, a brawny physique, and the ability to breathe underwater, along with a supreme fishing rod that never came up empty. On a deserted island, he ran into Ace and Deuce. The three of them squatted beside the wreckage of a Giant ship and munched on Devil Fruits. Ace turned into a human flame on the spot and melted half a greatsword into molten iron. Jerry's daily catch consisted of stinky socks and scraps of cloth. The only living thing he ever caught was a Sea King knocked unconscious by Conqueror's Haki, and Deuce fell to his knees and called him the Sea King.

Before the Paramount War, Blackbeard delivered Ace to Impel Down. Jerry shouldered his fishing rod and spent three days fishing outside the underwater prison. Magellan's poison dragon shot out and bit the hook, the tassel on Shiryu's sword got tangled in the line, and Luffy crawled out of a sewer and asked him for bait. The Celestial Dragons were throwing a party in Mary Geoise. The Five Elders stared at a monitoring screen and saw a man sitting at the edge of the Red Line, casting a line into the sea. Tied to the other end was Kaido's spiked club. Jerry looked back at the camera and smiled. "I'm just fishing. What are you all so nervous about? There aren't any gods in this world."
