Great Ming: Born with a Crocodile Dragon, I Rewrite My Short-Lived Fate

Zhu Zhanhe opens his eyes and finds himself the legitimate eldest son of Zhu Gaochi, Prince of Han, a child who was supposed to die young. Even more absurdly, whenever he falls asleep, he can transform into a giant softshell turtle and travel the world with Zheng He's fleet. This crocodile has now grown more than ten meters long, with a bite strong enough to tear a warship apart.

In the Yongle era, sixteen-year-old Zhu Zhanhe stands 1.9 meters tall and cuts down sixteen enemies in battle with a heavy saber. When assassins attack on the way back to the capital, everyone else panics, but he calmly asks his father for a fief in exchange for a sea chart. Zhu Gaochi refuses outright. "Go to sea in search of immortals? No way!" Zhu Zhanhe rolls his eyes. I'm trying to find sweet potatoes and that giant crocodile!

His master, Zhang Zhengheng, senses the dragon aura around him and trembles in fear. Holding a peachwood ruyi scepter, Zhu Zhanhe says casually, "Follow the current and you're an ordinary man. Go against it, and you might yet become an immortal. My fate is mine to decide, not Heaven's."

Princess Consort Wei is worried that her son is sixteen and should be married by now. The Prince of Han slaps the table in delight. "I want my grandson to be born before his big brother's!" Zhu Zhanhe, however, only wants to lead troops out to sea and bring back the Dragon King. Now that the fate of an early death recorded in the history books has been rewritten, the skies over the Yongle era are due for a change.
