Siheyuan: A Life of Freedom and Ease

In the 21st century, the city sprawls endlessly, and life races by.

For the sake of his livelihood and his dreams, he charges full speed down the road of entrepreneurship.

But business is grueling, the workload immense, and under crushing pressure, he dies young.

Then he discovers that he has transmigrated to a Beijing courtyard house in 1951, becoming Jia Mingyi, Jia Dongxu's second uncle.

No wife. No job.

So what?

In this great era of transition at the dawn of the People's Republic, Jia Mingyi uses his agricultural medicine space to get a job in the steel mill infirmary, where the work is easy. The space's farm grows and raises everything he needs, leaving him free from worry.

When there's nothing to do, he has tea with friends. In his spare time, he seeks out a beauty for a heart-to-heart.

He watches the winds of change and the flowers bloom and fall. All he wants is to quietly enjoy a simple, carefree life.

Nobody bother me!
