Siheyuan: Qin Huairu Is My Biological Older Sister

Winter of '61, and the famine still raged.

Heavy snow blanketed Qin Gezhuang on the outskirts of Beijing. One morning, Qin Jingru’s father opened the courtyard gate and found a ragged young man collapsed outside. He brought him inside to save him, only to discover that the boy was Qin Ping, Qin Huairu’s younger brother, who had gone missing more than ten years ago.

Qin Huairu wept with joy.

An elder sister is like a mother. Qin Huairu brought Qin Ping back to the siheyuan, vowing to give her younger brother a good life.

From then on, the elder sister doted on her younger brother, and the younger brother protected his elder sister. Qin Ping built a house, got married, and rose rapidly through the ranks as a cadre. Their happy life was filled with sunshine!

But is Qin Huairu really my biological sister?
