The General Is Fierce

I dare to write a few more sentences for you: My relative, Mrs. Zheng, is indecisive and suspicious. She despises others and fails to deliver results. She is often favored and arrogant. This is not a blessing for a minister, nor is she elected to serve as an assistant to the government. I have thought deeply that civil riots are mostly caused by hunger and cold, and military riots are mostly caused by lack of pay. The difficulties in state-owned enterprises are actually the shortcomings of the ancestral system. The government is greedy and the gentry are profit-seeking. Whenever there is a major disaster, the officials and businessmen collude and hoard, and the mountains, forests, fields and houses are all in the hands of powerful nobles! This person is doing his best to evade taxes and has no intention of caring about the people. As a result, many people lost their land and the people were filled with resentment. The army had no food and pay, and the soldiers fled. What a shame! The barbarians showed off their cruelty, but thanks to God's blessing and your help, we were able to achieve today's situation. Guan Qing's method of reforming the old and reforming the old is far inferior to that of the court. However, the ministers of Zhou and Gao, and the princes in the court, all benefited from the old system, and there was absolutely no possibility of innovation. If you want to expel the Tartars and settle the common people, you must first eliminate the accumulated abuses and then establish them. It requires the courage of the people of Chushan! I hope that Xu Qing will help the people of Li and break the stubbornness and shackles. The first priority should be to make the people rich and the army strong. It is up to the minister to decide whether he should be supported by the emperor's brother or not. The emperor's younger brother, Zheng, is fighting for power, so let him go. Chushan must not mess up its position. Cultivate benevolent governance internally and strengthen the military externally. If the people are peaceful and the land is peaceful, all people will have hope. One day the rivers and mountains will be restored, the people will be healthy, and the ministers will do their best... However, the Zhao royal family cannot write pens to bring peace to the world, and martial arts cannot ride horses to determine the world. I fear that they will not be able to defend it for a long time. In the past, Chai's son gave way to Taizu, and Taizu treated him kindly. I only hope that you will treat my children kindly when you succeed. I know this under the spring, and my heart will be very comforted! Wang Qing, please remember, I look forward to it deeply!

The original text of "History of the Ming Dynasty: Biography of Zhou Hongmo": There are three ways for a ruler to protect the country - to strengthen the sacred knowledge, to cultivate internal governance, and to resist foreign aggression. The first purpose of Lishengxue: to correct the mind. The fifth goal of cultivating internal governance is to seek true talents, get rid of unfaithful people, show loyalty and good deeds, remove redundant posts, and show sympathy for water transportation. The sixth purpose of resisting foreign aggression is to select generals, train soldiers, teach laws, manage weapons, provide enough pay, and appease the border areas. According to what Xu Huai said, the corruption of the local government in Lanzhou is shocking. Without internal governance, it is difficult to protect oneself, and resisting foreign aggression is even more idiotic... A quick look at it shows that all other state capitals are not much better. The only way for the Yue Dynasty is to break and then build.

They are all collected by masters.

Let's briefly analyze Deng Gui's behavior. I saw someone saying that Deng Gui was a speculator, and I wanted to analyze it. 1. Who was the biggest beneficiary when Deng Gui voluntarily gave up his military power? As major military leaders are increasingly becoming feudal lords, will Deng Gui voluntarily give up military power have a deterrent effect on other military leaders? I don't think so. Unless Xu Huai, the biggest military leader, is killed, other small military leaders will only speculate politically between the court and Xu Huai without worrying about being cut off from the vassal. Assuming that the three generals of Emperor Jianji take the initiative to hand over military power, in fact, the new emperor's paper strength can achieve a new balance with Xu Huai, who has greatly increased his power in occupying Jingxiang. Only then can the new emperor have a more stable mentality to manage the Huaihe River defense line, and not worry too much about whether Xu Huaiwei will be defeated, so that he can better form a joint force to jointly resist the enemy. Therefore, in the short term and at a shallow level, the power of the New Emperor has greatly increased, and the Huaihe defense line can be integrated faster. The New Emperor is considered a small win. However, in the long run, the Huaihe defense line, which is stable but has more loopholes, will inevitably remain the focus of the Chihu people's attacks, and Xu Huai's pressure will be greatly reduced. Moreover, if the three generals take the initiative to hand over power, and the new emperor is unwilling to use them to protect the capital, it is reasonable to send them to lead troops to the Huaihe defense line to do hard work. Then the three generals will repeatedly tug and dice at the Huaihe defense line. The new emperor transferred his direct troops to defend the capital, which actually resulted in fewer actual combat opportunities for the direct troops and weakened their combat effectiveness. Therefore, in the long run, the new emperor's forces are blocking the gun for Xu Huai, and the real combat effectiveness is weakening. Xu Huai gets more opportunities to recuperate and recuperate. Compared with the three generals who are closely related to him, Gao, Yang, Han and other military leaders have more opportunities to practice in battles. So the biggest beneficiary is Xu Huai. Second, from the perspective of Deng Gui's own interests, if he is a person who pursues maximizing interests. As the major military leaders are increasingly divided into vassals and towns, his best choice is definitely not to show his loyalty to the new emperor and give up military power, but to become a vassal-town himself, to play both sides between the major military leaders and the court, and to wait for a price. This is the logic of survival in troubled times. If he is a brave and loyal person, or is eager to make achievements, then his more likely choice is to stand with Xu Huai. After all, as someone who has fought side by side with Xu Huai, he understands Xu Huai's terrifying strength and desire to serve the country better than most people in the court. As for the option of being foolish, loyal, foolish and filial, so he has to surrender his military power. In the previous description of him, he cannot be this kind of person at all, so it can be ruled out directly. Therefore, Deng Gui's behavior was beneficial to the new emperor on the surface, but actually more beneficial to Xu Huai. Moreover, his behavior is not actually in his own best interests. Therefore, the logic behind his behavior and the fact that the driver behind it is actually Xu Huai are conclusive.

On the Chinese Internet, I don't know since when, there has been a trend of insulting the Song Dynasty. To be honest, it is quite inexplicable. The Song Dynasty was eight or nine hundred years ago, so there could not be any stakeholders, and the old and the young would cause trouble. Let's talk about the Song Dynasty. It is indeed abolished, but each dynasty has its own unbearable and humiliating side. If I have to say it, except for the Qing Dynasty, the other dynasties can only be said to have different joys and sorrows. Since the beginning of the Republic of China, there has been a main theme throughout Chinese history, which is the struggle between the farming empire in the Central Plains and the nomadic fishing and hunting empire in the northern grasslands. During the Eastern Zhou, Qin and Han dynasties, the Central Plains was crushing the grasslands, and there was even a saying that "one Han was the five barbarians". This was due to the all-round leadership in political organization, productivity, technology, and population. At the end of the Han Dynasty, the Hu people moved inland and began to learn the advanced political organizational forms and cultural technology of the Han civilization. With the unification of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Han civilization ushered in another peak period, but the great integration of ethnic groups also greatly enhanced the strength of the northern nomads. The cession of Yanyun by the Later Jin Dynasty was a key event, which finally gave the Liao Dynasty the capital to compete with the Central Plains Dynasty for supremacy. Many people know that Song Dynasty failed to regain Yanyun and lost its geographical advantage, which changed its offense and defense. But in fact, the loss of Yanyun had a more far-reaching impact, that is: the grassland empire shared the advanced political organizational form, productivity and technology, and population resources of the Central Plains dynasty. The subsequent Jin Dynasty further occupied the Central Plains, and the Yuan Dynasty was the first northern nomad to occupy the Central Plains and establish a unified dynasty. After a Ming Dynasty, another ethnic minority established the Qing Dynasty. It can be said that the key turning point in the struggle between the Central Plains and the grasslands was between the Tang and Song Dynasties. The Han and Tang Dynasties favored martial arts, while the Song and Ming Dynasties favored literature. The Song Dynasty had two major pain points: one was Yan Yun, as mentioned before; the other was the troubled times of warriors. Since the An-Shi Rebellion, the Tang Dynasty has fallen into the quagmire of feudal rule. After the fall of the Tang Dynasty and the establishment of the Song Dynasty, in just over fifty years, it was another chaotic era in which you sang and I came on stage, and the king's flag changed on the city wall. According to the historical evaluation of Wei Wu, Wei Wu's greatest contribution was to unify the north. Cao A'ao once said proudly: If there were no orphans in the country, I don't know how many people would be emperors and kings. But what he didn't know was that during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, in just over fifty years, there was an average of one emperor per year! "The emperor, he who has strong soldiers and horses will do it" has become a truth deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Ending the trend of warriors in troubled times was a major contribution to history by Song Taizu Zhao Kuangyin, but at the same time, it also brought the Song Dynasty's worship of literature and suppression of martial arts to another extreme. Another decisive impact caused by the "incorrect position" of Song Taizu and Song Taizong was: redundant officials, redundant soldiers, redundant expenses, that is, decentralization! This was a great weapon against usurping the throne, but it was also the fundamental reason for the decline and demise of the Song Dynasty. It is said that the Song Dynasty was poor and weak, but in fact, the comprehensive national power of the Song Dynasty was very powerful, far stronger than that of the Liao and Jin Dynasties, and no worse than other unified dynasties. However, being strong or not is not directly related to military victory or defeat. In the era of cold weapons, there were many factors that affected the outcome of a war. The Song Dynasty could almost be said to have an advantage in all aspects, but it was completely defeated on one decisive point, and that was: military command power. The Song army suffered too many constraints from the emperor and civil servants. The most classic one was undoubtedly the Second Emperor Huiqin. By the time of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, the Song Dynasty was already running downhill, but even if it was beaten by the Jin army to Kaifeng City, it would not be difficult to continue to survive for dozens or hundreds of years. However, Huiqin's second-hand failure immediately failed. In the first year, the Jin army marched straight in, fought at the gates of Kaifeng City, robbed and returned, but came back in the second year, and the Northern Song Dynasty perished immediately. . . To put it bluntly, even if there was a pig sitting on the throne, the Northern Song Dynasty would not be destroyed. The emperors of the Northern Song Dynasty, Taizu, had nothing to say. The biggest black point was that they did not solve the problem of successors. Taizong, the chariot god of the Gaoliang River, also has nothing to say. In Taizong's lineage, one word stands out: waste Renzong was actually a good emperor, but at the peak of his dynasty, what else could he say with such a thing on display? Shenzong, powerless Huiqin, the peerless twins, Guang Ge, the eternal brother, said he was under a lot of pressure Throughout the dynasties, in the Han Dynasty, it was the relatives and eunuchs who caused trouble; in the Tang Dynasty, the relatives and eunuchs were still domineering, but the troublemakers became warriors; in the Song and Ming Dynasties, it was the turn of the civil servants; in the Qing Dynasty, everyone became honest, and then the women came. Times are advancing and systems are improving, but what remains unchanged is the imperial power. What remains unchanged is that there are always people who can share the glory of the imperial power.

The novel mentions that the Jingxiang Road, which was set up in a heart-wrenching manner, has a population of more than 4 million. It is also said that when the enemy attacks, there will be an army of 200,000. In fact, the financial resources and manpower of Jingxiang Road were unable to maintain a standing army of 200,000. Weibo Town, Heshuo Fan Town in the Mid-Tang Dynasty, with a population of nearly 3 million, could maintain a standing army of 100,000, including 10,000 Yajun. Most of the elderly and women in the town had to work in the fields to ensure the army's supply. This was only achieved by Weibo after decades of being on the verge of war, and it could not be achieved in a short period of time. An army of 200,000 people, even if the standing army is only half and half is recruited for regiment training, according to the static standing army annual requirement of 100 guan, regiment training requires 60 guan per year, the daily army maintenance alone requires 16 million guan of stone per year. Such a missing element How can Jingxiang Road have such huge financial resources? Frankly speaking, Jingxiang Road can dig three feet of ground to secure 6 million guan. The Jingxiang Road is actually surrounded by enemies or potential enemies on three sides. The eastern defense line is the main front of Rucaishen, Guangzhou and Anzhou are the so-called friendly forces with bad intentions, Suizhou, Yingzhou and Fuzhou in the south still belong to the imperial court and are also considered potential enemies. This strategic situation is very poor, far worse than before when we had three friendly forces on one side and an enemy on the other. The author may be a liberal arts major and does not understand mechanics, metallurgical machinery, etc. He has previously proposed Chushan's so-called fine iron chariot of 200 kilograms. Even with today's high technology, it is difficult to achieve, unless titanium alloy can be used to achieve a level of about 300-400 kilograms. Now what kind of metal transmission gears and metal transmission rods are made? These things must be made of the lowest carbon steel to be practical, and iron tools cannot do it. It's better to return to history honestly and stop playing with high technology.

I read it over and over again, but I really can't stand it. Every time I see Xu Huai taking risks regardless of what others say, and finally using the protagonist's aura to save the day, I really want to tell Geng said, if you keep writing like this, you will have to rush to the street. Don't you understand that readers don't like protagonists taking risks? Do you know how ugly the protagonist looks like rushing to die without listening to anyone's words? How many times do you want to risk your life to pick up sesame seeds before you give up? This is the sixth time I picked up this book. I lost interest in taking the risk to collect sesame seeds. I am really sad about the vulgarity. It is clear that such an excellent author has fallen into such a paranoid state. It is foreseeable that if you are not aware of where you went wrong, no matter how much you write, it will be meaningless.

Why don't you take the Jinshi exam if you are a civil and military scholar? Although you are still an official, you are a civil servant, and you are the most capable of fighting among the civil servants. You will not be easily killed by a civil servant later. Hey

Why did fighting against Tsai damage the foundation?
