Cast Off the Flesh, and Only 206 Bones Remain

Ye Heng is reborn in a modern city, only to find himself a skeleton, discarded deep in the mountains.

He wanders aimlessly into a dilapidated Mountain God Temple and sits on the altar to rest. To his surprise, he can sense the power of incense offerings and uses it to reach enlightenment in the Bone Contemplation method.

[Shed the skin, and what remains is no more than 206 bones; put on clothes, and you become 18,000 forms!]

Contemplate bones, read hearts, create supernatural abilities!

From then on, Ye Heng begins an evolutionary path as a skeleton, one where he alone wields the Dao and stands as the sole transcendent being!

In the mountains, the years pass unnoticed; in cultivation, he loses track of time.

Before long, the sun and moon are born in Ye Heng’s eyes, and lightning sparks from his palms. Sitting like a mountain, his skeleton brings myth into reality, leaving all manner of legends in the nearby villages and towns.

Then one day, a national documentary film crew follows those legends to the mountain. Caught in a torrential thunderstorm, they take shelter in a tent, only to suddenly hear a roar that shakes the heavens. A gleaming white figure then soars out of the mountains, bathing in thunder high above the clouds and transforming eight thousand times amid the mists.

“Today, I bathe in thunder and overcome my tribulation. From this day forth, I shall be known as the Great Immortal of White Bones!”
