Siheyuan: A Lie-Flat Life

Wang Ming transmigrates into a courtyard compound, where he becomes an intellectually disabled orphan whose parents have just died. His family owns a car and a house, has one thousand yuan in compensation and two thousand yuan in savings, and holds two job positions. In the eyes of the compound’s scavengers, he’s a fat piece of meat everyone can take a bite out of, so they each resort to their own schemes. Wang Ming pretends to be a fool and gradually gets hold of everyone’s dirt. This is a story about a fool bleeding the compound’s scavengers dry and then lying flat.
