Demoted from Wife to Concubine, the Ninth Prince Kneels and Begs His Moonlight to Stay

Because she was ugly, Yunxi was given by the young lady to the guard she had picked up. Yunxi, who had long admired Shen Cangwu, was overjoyed. Until he got drunk on their wedding night, called out the young lady’s name, and pinned Yunxi to the bed. That was when she learned he loved the young lady, that she was the only one in his heart and on his mind, and that was why he had never been willing to touch Yunxi. She thought she could wait until he changed his mind. Who knew her bargain-bin husband would turn out to be the emperor’s illegitimate son? With the difference in status between them gone, the young lady regretted her decision. She forced Shen Cangwu to admit he loved her. Yunxi anxiously waited for an answer, only to receive his “compensation”: he would demote her from wife to concubine.
