Riding the Wind into Xinjiang

In 2003, the country began to implement the Western Plan. 2023 Marks the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the Western Plan. In 20 years, more than 500,000 college students left the city and headed west, where the motherland and the people needed them most. The recently graduated college students traveled around, carrying the expectation of dreams and love, and traveled thousands of miles to Dabancheng, a small town in the west. During his one-year volunteer career, he saw what it means to have a vast land and sparsely populated areas, what it means to be united among nations, and what it means to be willing to contribute. Xinjiang, a wilderness full of free will, left behind his sweat and tears, wiped away his confusion and timidity, and engraved his youth and passion.
