The Ming Dynasty's Wildest Censor: Teaching Old Zhu How to Be a Benevolent Ruler, Step by Step!

[Lighthearted] [Funny] [Absurd] [Insulting Those Above Him] [Everything Turned Upside Down]

Shen Zheng opened his eyes and found himself transmigrated to the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty, where he had become a low-ranking censor in the Censorate.

The Hu Weiyong case had just erupted. Emperor Hongwu was purging the court and abolishing the position of chancellor, dividing its power among the Six Ministries. Not a single official dared to speak up.

At this critical moment, Shen Zheng awakened his golden finger. Whenever he insulted someone badly enough to enrage them, he received a reward. The more powerful and higher-ranking his target, the greater the reward: methods for making sugar, salt, and medicine; blueprints for gunpowder, muskets, and cannons... And once he accumulated enough rage points, he could return to the modern world and enjoy life as a billionaire.

Looking at the beaming Emperor Hongwu on the throne, Shen Zheng grinned and strode forward, letting loose a furious tirade!

From the Hu Weiyong case to the Blank Paper case, the Guo Huan case, the Li Shanchang case, and the Lan Yu case... Shen Zheng ranted all the way through them. Old Zhu not only spared his life, but kept promoting him until he was in charge of the Censorate, becoming the Ming Dynasty's foremost censor!

Shen the Censor, with iron resolve and a fearless heart, a true gentleman who looked death in the eye!

Old Zhu: "That Shen brat is a heaven-sent genius. He's a fine young man, shame about that mouth of his. If only he were mute..."

Crown Prince Biao: "Teacher Shen is upright and hates evil. He dares to impeach the powerful and remonstrate with the emperor to his face. He truly is my Wei Zheng!"

The entire court: "Chief Censor Shen! Lord Shen! Shen the Pit! Please stop ranting! The more you rant, the happier His Majesty is about killing people! We're begging you, shut your damn mouth!"
