The Rebellious Son of Yongle: Zhu Di's Mindset Crumbles

[Royal Prince] [Farming] [Business] [From the Start, He's Thrown in Prison]

The fourth year of the Jianwen era.

Prince of Yan Zhu Di storms into Jinling and takes the throne.

The ambitious emperor who will be remembered for all time, the battle-hardened generals and gods of war, the great scholars in their high hats and flowing robes... The Yongle Golden Age is about to begin.

Zhu Gaoxi arrives in the Ming Dynasty and is implicated by Fang Xiaoru, landing in the imperial prison from the start. After finally getting out, he finds his family destitute and penniless. Even the family's old hen has been taken away.

With no other way forward, he throws himself into commerce, using knowledge from the future to make a fortune with ease and meeting many close friends along the way.

He watches the clouds drift by and listens to flowers bloom and fade, taking the ups and downs of life in stride and enjoying a comfortable existence.

But just as he is about to experience the decadent, absurd life of a feudal lord with three wives and four concubines, an imperial edict summoning him to office leaves him dumbfounded.

How can they just force someone into government service like this, practically driving him to join the bandits?
