Synopsis

[Wartime resistance + decisive and ruthless + realistic] After Zhang Zifeng woke up, he found himself lying in a freezing trench on Cangyun Ridge, with deafening artillery booming in his ears. He had transmigrated. He had transmigrated into the world of the TV series *Drawing Sword*. He had become the commander of the 3rd Battalion of the New 1st Regiment. The unnamed battalion commander from the original story, who died in the battle on Cangyun Ridge. It was now February 1940. The fighting on Cangyun Ridge was fierce. Facing their position was the Japanese Army's Sakamoto Regiment, hailed as an elite force. It had once defeated two divisions of the Nationalist Army with a single regiment. Zhang Zifeng had to do more than survive the battle on Cangyun Ridge. He also had to lead these battle-hardened men through this turbulent age, and show the unyielding spirit of China's soldiers. Let us start anew, reclaim our lost land, and march toward the imperial court.
