During the Yuanfu era of the Great Song, the painter Wu Hao arrived in the flourishing realm of the Zhao dynasty.

Walking through the bustling streets of Bianliang, as lively as a scene from Along the River During the Qingming Festival, Wu Hao couldn't help thinking about what would happen 29 years later. The Jurchen cavalry would sweep south, completely destroying this magnificent age of prosperity.
