Burying the Qing Dynasty Alive

"The Third Imperial Grandson Zhu is the greatest enemy of our Great Qing! The harm he has caused surpasses even that of the Three Feudatories!" After saying this, the young and mighty Emperor Kangxi wrote Zhu Hesheng's name on a pillar in the South Study.

"Third Imperial Grandson Zhu, you have to hold on! The restoration of the Ming depends on you! We loyal Ming subjects are right behind you, cheering you on!" The loyal Ming subjects Zheng Jing, Chen Jinnan, Boss Hui, and Scarface Rong were waving their flags and shouting with great excitement.

"Third Imperial Grandson Zhu, did you know? This is the decree your grandfather, Emperor Chongzhen, left for Wu Sangui. We found it in your family's stronghold, and it's the genuine article!" Yang Qilong, the Ming dynasty's greatest admirer, was talking to himself as he held Emperor Chongzhen's decree, the ink still wet.

"Third Imperial Grandson Zhu, you go first. I'll raise an army against the Qing right away!" Wu Sangui, Prince of Pingxi of the Great Qing, said weakly from his sickbed.

"I am the Third Imperial Grandson Zhu. The Third Crown Prince Zhu is my father, and Emperor Chongzhen is my grandfather. But all I care about is the common good. I have no desire to be emperor. It's only for the sake of your wealth and glory that I'm reluctantly accepting this job." Faced with his ministers urging him to take the throne, Zhu Hesheng, with the pure and noble soul of a twenty-first-century man, spoke from the heart.
