(Most books are around a million words or more. I hope this saves you the trouble of searching for books, which I know all too well. I’ve been reading Marvel fan fiction lately, so there are more American comics recommendations.) My tastes are extremely eclectic, and I read almost every genre. But I don’t like tragic stories, even if things turn around later, so most of my recommendations are feel-good power fantasies. Most feature invincible or nearly invincible protagonists. An invincible protagonist starts out at the top of the world. A nearly invincible protagonist stays at the top of the power scale among the story’s characters as the plot unfolds. I’m also something of a casual anime fan. I read fan fiction too, and there are quite a few recommendations here. Hope you enjoy them.
