But when reading the more obscure and complicated theoretical system of this book, I prefer to put it in a better understandable context, such as a fantasy online novel called "Release That Witch". This book fictionalizes a social environment similar to the Middle Ages in Western Europe, and introduces the concept of "war of divine will": when supernatural forces actually affect reality, human beings must fight a life-and-death battle with three other intelligent races in the name of the race, and only the last survivor can Win the so-called "God's Smile" and gain civilization upgrade; after the world restarts, God will re-create four new intelligent races and launch a new round of "War of Divine Will", repeated over and over again, lasting for hundreds of millions of years - and God's only purpose is to select the "best" civilization. Unexpectedly, this fictional world view is extremely consistent with realistic logic, at least in terms of the evolution and competition of civilization systems, and how to understand the "best" civilization (culture). The author's sand table deduction coincides with most of the ideas of the universal theory of evolution - this is why I think it is worth exploring the "War of Divine Will" from an academic perspective. We might as well regard this novel as an interesting social experiment to understand some of the advantages and disadvantages of the new cultural evolution theory...
