Reading Whatever I Feel Like
After reading novels for so many years, I'm just not interested in stories where the protagonist crushes everyone with brute force, the villains have no brains, beating up a younger guy brings out an older one, and the hero pulls out a golden finger whenever things get tough. I find stories with more mind games and tactical battles much more engaging. Here are some novels I've read that I think are pretty good. History, Urban, and Military Fiction Only
I like alternate history, urban rebirth stories, and tales of industrial power. My tastes are getting pickier: no naive protagonists, no glaring flaws, characters whose values make sense, and a distinctive touch are all musts. I can't claim every book here is a must-read, but they should at least be solid. I'll also add books with something unique about them, or an exceptionally toxic flaw, to my favorites.

Back in ’96, when I was still young, I dove headfirst into the world of web novels and never managed to escape. I’m well past thirty now, but I’ve never regretted stepping into this circle. My sense of dignity has been left by the wayside ever since. I’ve read a lot, and all kinds of books. There are quite a few whose titles I can’t remember in detail anymore. Here I’d like to recommend some books I’m following, along with some completed ones I particularly enjoyed. I hope you’ll find them worth
