My top picks are books with brilliant, original ideas. I like stories that are humorous, interesting, lighthearted, and fun. As a veteran reader, I'm not into cookie-cutter wish-fulfillment stories for newbies. Times are changing, and so are web novels. It's time to weed out those mindless stories by so-called great authors and make room for new talent! You may not believe this, but I'm an author too. I spend all day studying popular books, and I've read pretty much everything on the major Qidian charts. I'm very familiar with works in the vein of The King's Avatar and Midnight Bookstore. I believe these kinds of books are right up the alley of many veteran readers. So this list is meant to gather them all in one place and help people who don't have time to hunt down each witty, laugh-out-loud story one by one.
