Reborn in 1984: From Forest Farm Doctor to Surgical Saint

[Period Setting, Northeastern Forest Region, Surgery + Emergency Medicine, Reborn, Weak System]

In his previous life, Han Linsheng spent his entire career in the emergency department of a provincial capital, saving countless people from the clutches of death.

The only person he failed to save was his father.

In the twelfth lunar month of 1985, a falling tree crushed his father's spleen at the logging site. A small train carried him eighteen kilometers, but he didn't make it to the forestry bureau hospital.

The forest farm clinic had once had a doctor. Han Linsheng himself had used his connections to get the man transferred away.

When he opens his eyes again, it's August 1984. He grips his job assignment notice as he rides the little train into the mountains.

That fateful eighth day of the twelfth lunar month is still over five hundred days away.

This time, he's not going anywhere.

The only problem is that the surgical System in his head demands conditions fit for the 2000s. All he has is a flashlight with a dying battery and a pair of hemostats with a loose tip.
