Peninsula: Late-Night Diner, Starting with Vampires

After transmigrating to a parallel world and living there for eighteen years, Jiang Yan sets off for Korea to seek out his childhood friend.

The instant his plane touches down, alarms blare at Korea's Institute for the Study of Mysterious Creatures.

Knowing nothing about any of this, Jiang Yan opens a late-night diner to earn a living and pay off his student loans, encouraged and supported by his childhood friend.

Sneaking out of her dorm in the middle of the night, Ningning pulls her hat low, adjusts her mask, and leads Liu Zhimin to a secluded little shop with barely any customers.

Ningning: "Unnie, I'm telling you, my little sidekick is an incredible cook. This time, I'll let you taste what authentic Chinese barbecue is really like!"

Liu Zhimin eyes the shabby, empty shop suspiciously. "Hey, Ning, this place doesn't look like a restaurant at all. You're not planning to kidnap me, are you?"

After one bite of the old-fashioned homestyle marinated meat, Liu Zhimin silently transfers all the meat from the grill to her own bowl.

"Ning, since your childhood friend owns this place, it won't hurt to give me half off, right? Could I get another three... five plates of beef, please!"

Jiang Yan approaches with a plate of beef. His gaze falls involuntarily on the pale nape of Liu Zhimin's neck. A peculiar fragrance lingers beneath his nose. His throat works uncontrollably, and his teeth gradually sharpen.

Somehow, word gets out, and the late-night diner slowly fills to capacity.

Popular actors, hot idols, pretty trainees, glamorous career women, haughty upperclasswomen, succubus landladies, rich young ladies...

"Hey! I brought you all those customers. Are you going to drink my blood too?"
