Cultivating Immortality with a Fading Life: I Complete an Ancient Destiny

People cultivate immortality by seizing spiritual energy, stealing the workings of creation, and defying fate to change their destinies.

Su Yan alone is different.

He was born with an incomplete fate.

His Dao foundation is flawed and his spiritual roots incomplete. Any cultivation will backfire, cutting short his lifespan, diminishing his fortune, and bringing calamity upon him.

The sect has judged him a crippled cultivator with no future in the Dao.

His sect abandons him, his fellow disciples trample him, and the world looks down on him. Everyone says he is doomed to live an ordinary, short life and be buried in the dirt.

Until Su Yan awakens the [Heart of the Way of Mending Fate].

While others seize the workings of Heaven, he mends what is broken.

A broken sword, and he can mend the Sword Dao;

A barren mountain with a ruined spiritual vein, and he can mend spiritual roots;

Regrets in the mortal world, and he can mend one's fate;

The ruins of countless ages, and he can mend the Great Dao!

Everything imperfect in the world becomes nourishment for his cultivation.

Others grow stronger as they cultivate, following the will of Heaven.

He grows more complete as he mends, defying brokenness to live.

Mend every flaw beneath Heaven and cultivate an immortal path without regrets.

One day, when the fate of countless ages is made whole and the broken Great Dao returns to its rightful place,

Su Yan will look up at the sky and say:

"Heaven left me incomplete for half my life, so I'll mend what has been incomplete for all eternity."
