Chinese Showbiz: Starting at Shaolin in 2004

In 2004, Chen Mo left Shaolin Temple.

In his previous life, he died suddenly on New Year’s Eve, and no one remembered his name.

In this life, he remembers everyone’s name.

That year, Ning Hao was still revising scripts at an internet cafe, Huang Bo was still singing at a bar, and his fellow apprentice Wang Baoqiang was still living in a basement, waiting for A World Without Thieves.

This is the story of an extra from Shaolin Temple making a comeback. While others rely on luck to succeed, he uses his information advantage to rise from bit player to tycoon. When he stands at the summit and looks back, he declares: In this life, I call the shots.
