Immortal Peddler!

I, Xu Yan, never managed to establish my foundation in this life. Even at the moment of death, I couldn't understand why.

My soul passed through a jade gate and received inheritances from three immortals.

I became an immortal's errand boy, running around for them and buying food, drink, clothes, and other mundane things to relieve their boredom.

That was how I cultivated myself into a half-dead state.

My sect is a prestigious sword sect. I can't be practicing corpse refinement here.

With nothing to do at night, I drifted around the mountain gates as a soul and saw plenty of sordid things.

I had planned to cultivate in peace, until one day an immortal said he was sick of the food and insisted I travel far away to buy him some fine wine and jade dew.

He gave me a fortuitous opportunity and saved my life, so wherever he tells me to go, I'll go.

At some point, rumors spread throughout the cultivation world that the immortal's errand boy possessed an inheritance of immortal arts, and I became a rat everyone wanted to beat.

I'm innocent! To cultivate that technique, you have to kill yourself first! I can't do that, I can't!

Since I can't reason with people, I'll just have to settle things with my fists.

But as I kept fighting, I started to realize that maybe that immortal was a fake too...
