This Goddess Is All-Knowing, Yet Surprisingly Ignorant

Lu Ren, 24, a shut-in and gaming power-leveling service provider, died after eating a bowl of spicy malatang.

When he reincarnated, he won Heaven's annual hidden grand prize: Akasha, the Goddess of Wisdom, an all-knowing, all-powerful, walking encyclopedia.

Terms and conditions: No refunds or exchanges once claimed.

Only later did he learn that "all-knowing" meant she knew everything, while "Goddess of Wisdom" meant she had no idea how to use any of it.

Ask her what to have for breakfast, and she'll start with the Big Bang. Ask her how to fight a dragon, and she'll say, "The important thing is, you can't win."

His other teammates include an atheist priest who insists divine arts are science, a chuunibyou mage who has leveled his illumination spell to 99, and a berserker who faints at the sight of blood.

And there's one fact he doesn't know:

On his third day after reincarnating, an absurd chain of accidents, one not seen in a century, brought the 99th Demon King to a smiling death.

The rule for inheriting the Demon King's throne is simple: Whoever killed him gets the job.

Now the Demon King's army's tracking compass is pointing at him day and night,

The entire Demon King's army firmly believes, "His Majesty is lying low among humans, plotting his grand design,"

while he is seriously studying a guild quest notice: "Slay the Demon King (Reward: an entire city)."
