On Changsheng Street, My Neighbor Is Kang Ershou

In 2000, Yu Jing'an was twenty years old.

After an accident restored his memories of a past life, he realized that something about his family seemed off.

His father, Yu Keqiang, was nicknamed Greasy Yu. He also had a half-sister named Yu Suxin.

That's right, he was Greasy Yu, the man who abandoned Yin Hong and their daughter to start a new family with his mistress.

And Yu Jing'an was the son he had with that mistress.

After learning the truth, Yu Jing'an couldn't stay in that house for the time being.

With He Ma's help, Yu Jing'an left Hong Kong with two travel bags and went alone to Xiguan, Guangzhou. At first, he only planned to live somewhere else for a few years.

Then he met his new neighbors: Kang Ershou, a retired accountant, and his four sons, Guang, Zong, Yao, and Zu.

Here, for the first time, he learned what "family" meant.

Years later, when the battle for a "Perfect Family" between He Ma, Jo Bao, Auntie Hong, and the children finally began, Yu Jing'an realized that ever since he'd left Hong Kong, his departure had already changed many people's lives.

And it all began on Changsheng Street in Guangzhou in the year 2000.

This story takes A House of 72 Tenants as its main setting and incorporates classic Hong Kong dramas such as Heart of Greed: Moonlight Resonance.
