God's Punishment Chases Me, I Chase the Truth

God's punishment chased me for three years. For the first two days, it followed me over the mountains, and I thought it was because I drank too much. I believed it on the third day. This thunder does not strike trees or houses, it only strikes me. I, Shen Che, am twenty-three. I have killed monsters for others, sold my life, never rebelled against fate, never rebelled against the court, never killed a good person, and have not even failed to pay for the wontons served at the roadside stall. But it refused to let me go. Until that time, I was struck by lightning and was cornered, and time suddenly stopped for a moment. A voice said: Go. It was not me, nor anyone I knew, who carried those five thunders for me. It's another me. He sank in the deepest part of the void, hidden in a cracked stone shell. Every day I live, he is one step closer to annihilation; every time I am saved, he is cracked an inch. The pleasure is mine, the pain is his. But I don't know who he is, and I don't know why he is the one who takes the blame for me. All I know is that the history of this world has been tampered with. Tiandao personally deleted a piece of true history, and the only people who remember it are me and him. He left me a fragment and a jade talisman. There is a ray of other people's consciousness hidden in the fragments, a ray of remnant soul sealed in the jade talisman, and a piece of history that no one dares to recognize. I'm chasing the truth. God's punishment is chasing me. I want to see what it is that Tian Dao tried so hard to hide.
