The Sword Divides North and South

Fifteen years later, in the watery towns of Jiangnan, mist and waves scatter the spring light across the lake. The timid little bean who once clutched half a damp candied fruit and hid behind someone has grown into a sharp-eyed young man named Lu Li. He is the only disciple of Lu Zhang, and a once-in-a-century sword prodigy in the Jianghu, born with a battle-hardened physique that grows stronger against stronger foes. Whenever he faces certain death, he breaks through to the next realm. The stronger his opponent, the greater his explosive power. He can grasp in the heat of battle martial arts bottlenecks others fail to overcome after ten years of hard training; he can break through the thresholds of realms others cannot reach in a lifetime, all after a bloody fight. The world believes Lu Zhang is a demon-liberator who betrayed his country and fled to escape danger, but no one knows that in the misty waters of Jiangnan, a peerless master and his disciple lie in wait: One has concealed every trace of his brilliance and borne a reputation of infamy for millennia, a sword immortal of legendary desperation; The other keeps his blade sheathed, born to grow stronger with every battle, a young prodigy just coming into his own. An old master and a young disciple, one restrained and one dashing. One holds the world in check, the other shakes the Jianghu. When the winds rise and the clouds gather, they will send a sword sweeping through the sky, cleaving north from south.
