On the Path to Immortality: Starting with Demonic Cultivation

A million years ago, when heaven and earth first formed, primordial beings ruled the world. The Immortal Emperor swept across the four directions and unified the universe, creating humanity and bestowing cultivation techniques upon them. A hundred thousand years ago, turmoil erupted in the Immortal Realm. While the Immortal Emperor was breaking through, his disciples joined forces with the immortals to ambush him and cast him into the Immortalization Pool. Ten thousand years ago, the Demon Lord emerged. Leading countless demons in a rebellion against Heaven, he fought the forces of the Immortal Realm all the way to the Divine Tree that Reaches the Heavens. The Three Realms collapsed, and the path to ascension was severed. Twenty years ago, the demon army's general was slain by Ji Changsheng in Wangchuan Commandery. The demons were routed, and the Great Zhou was founded. Eighteen years ago, Ji Shier was born. Imprisoned in the Palace of Tranquil Reflection for decades, he emerged after cultivating a heaven-defying demonic art. Heavy snow blanketed Canglan City, and the heaven-defying demonic art awakened. Though he was of the Great Zhou imperial family, he bore the power of demons, and all under heaven saw him as a demonic abomination. When he stepped out of the Cold Palace, causes and consequences sealed away for countless ages slowly began to stir. Immortals and demons, sin and tribulation: it turned out that he was at the heart of every conflict.
