The Calamity of the Nethersea

Kenkaniro, a world where magic, martial arts, flying dragons, and pirates are real. Seven continents, seven civilizations: Eastern warriors draw in qi and seek the Way; northern mages pursue the truths of magic; desert stargazers gaze up at the stars; and sky knights fight alongside their flying dragons... Far to the west lies the “Lost Isles,” perpetually shrouded in black mist and forbidden to all. Some say monsters dwell there. Some have heard dragons roar. Others believe that beyond the black mist lies a realm of the dead. But none of this has anything to do with Lin Chuan, a boy from Qingya Town in Cangwu Province. At fifteen, he has never seen the sea and has no idea how vast the world is. Until one day, he leaves the mountains. Many years later, when people look back on the era that changed all seven continents, they find just one sentence on the first page of the story: It all began with a boy who had never seen the sea.
