I Survive in the Cultivation World by Collecting Scrap

In the world of cultivation, junk is worth more than you think. Chen Shi, an eighteen-year-old orphan, worked as a menial hand at a salvage yard. Someone had found him and taken him in three months earlier. He spent the whole night crouched at the sorting table before picking out a fragment of a Green Nether Sword embryo and selling it for three thousand spirit stones. Everyone at the yard was stunned. That was because Chen Shi's eyes were a little different. While others saw scrap iron, he could see its age, its origins, and the karmic ties weighing upon it. The Junk-Seer's Eye had simply appeared in him. Old Zhou promoted him to chief sorter, the black market dubbed him Little God of Wealth, and Zhao Jinding tried to poach him with triple the monthly pay. But there was more to the salvage yard than met the eye. Old Zhou had been expelled from the Taixu Sect thirty years ago and still held a Guixu Order. An underground betting ring had specifically requested a bronze mirror with eyes. And inside the cracks of the antique mirror Chen Shi had picked up, something was slowly awakening. Junk has a price. Karma is priceless. The gates of the Guixu Cavern await someone to open them.
