Douluo Dalu: Starting with a Squirtle

Ling Chen, an ordinary modern man, transmigrates to Douluo Dalu by chance. He grows up safely until the age of six, when he takes part in the Martial Soul Awakening ceremony. When he awakens, two Martial Souls appear at once: Squirtle and Moyun Vine. Squirtle is a Water-type turtle Martial Soul with a thick, hard shell, skilled in Water-type attacks and defense. Moyun Vine is a purple-black plant Martial Soul that naturally produces poison and can devour life energy. It can absorb the vitality of heaven and earth to slowly nourish its Soul Rings. His Innate Soul Power is excellent. Squirtle can keep evolving, growing into Wartortle and eventually Blastoise, and it even has a Mega Evolution form. Moyun Vine’s tendrils can stretch a great distance and ensnare enemies over a wide area, while its poison can erode its opponents. The two Martial Souls have distinct traits and can work together to create a balanced fighting style suited to both offense and defense.
