Fallen Star Begonia

Today marks the eighteenth day since I ran away from home. As luck would have it, a heavy rain started today. I went into a residential complex to shelter from it, but after getting soaked, I came down with a high fever and collapsed beneath one of the buildings. When I woke up, the woman who lived there made me feel genuine warmth for the first time in my life. I thought we’d never meet again, but I saw her once more when I went to register for the new school year… “I didn’t expect you to be my senior. Let’s get acquainted.”
