Witch Tamer

In this dim, lightless land, a black sun hangs over the sky. In the ashen forest, drained of all color, winding thorns spread without end.

Atop the mountain, the only place lit by a pale candle flame, lies the home of the witch.

Fang Shu, a witch seduction specialist assigned by the System, calmly called the System. "You're saying my mission is to make this coupling of rotten flesh and eyeball tentacles, this mountain-sized chaos monster, fall in love with me?"

System: "That's right. With such a breathtaking appearance, hasn't your instinct to reproduce been stirred?"

Fang Shu spat and cursed inwardly.

It has! The knife in my hand has moved!

"Witch" is the collective term for all supernatural disasters in the world of Taryn. They needn't be human, or female, and sometimes they aren't even alive.

As for Fang Shu, well, whatever. It didn't matter. All that mattered was getting that damn affection rating up to 100%.

System: "This lady is a music connoisseur. She loves beautiful music. The more beautiful, the better!"

Without a change in expression, Fang Shu looked at the lump of flesh and threw it into a volcano that never went out.

The monster's anguished howls rang out, then it turned into fuel, spurring it to grow. Its growth intensified the flames, which in turn made its howls of agony even worse. It was an endless cycle. Fang Shu's affection rating shot up.

System: Mission complete. The music was beautiful, and the witch is very pleased!

And so the world gained a witch-disaster specialist revered and feared by all.

"You're too kind, you're too kind. I simply love every witch with all my heart!"

Thus spoke Fang Shu, in response to the world's praise.
