Meisha's Story: My Journey to Higher Education

I just realized that maybe I'm one of the youngest college graduates?

Born in 2005 in Longgang, Shenzhen, my name is Chen Ye Meisha. At sixteen, when everyone else was heading to regular high school, I didn't want to enter the exam-driven race. I applied to only three schools and, with my father's help, enrolled at Guangdong Light Industry Technician School to study interior design.

I thought that was the direction my life would take. But as I studied, I gradually discovered what I truly wanted and set out on the path to further education, enrolling in the Mental Health Education program at Guangdong Maoming Preschool Teachers College.

Without ever attending regular high school, I graduated from a two-year college at twenty-one after studying at two different schools and pursuing two completely different majors.

This isn't a self-help book about success. It's an honest record of the confusion, choices, and lessons I experienced after deviating from the mainstream path to higher education. Interior design taught me to see space and beauty; psychology taught me to understand myself. This is for every young person at a crossroads in life, wondering if they've taken the wrong path.
