The Wordless Puppet Path

Lin Mo’s family was massacred when he was young. His throat was crushed, and he was struck by a blood curse that forbade speech: if he spoke before reaching the Great Ascension realm, his vital energy would collapse and kill him. Rescued by the Qingmu Sect, he became “Mute Lin,” a servant in the menial disciple compound whom anyone could bully. Framed with no way to defend himself and bullied into silence, his life changed completely when he accidentally fell into a forbidden area behind the mountain and obtained the ancient fragment, The Heavenly Art of Puppetry, along with the Formless Puppet Heart. Unable to speak up and prove his innocence, he sent ant puppets to uncover hard evidence and publicly humiliated a corrupt steward. Unable to challenge his enemies with words, he crafted wooden battle puppets and quietly crippled the instigator’s cultivation. Unable to rally the crowd with a speech, he formed a hundred-puppet battle array and won one fight after another in the sect tournament, stunning the entire sect. From a lowly servant to the top puppeteer of Xuanzhou, from contending in the mortal realm to becoming a sovereign in the Immortal Realm, Lin Mo never uttered a word. With countless puppets and a mind as deep as the sea, he rose against the odds at every turn. He investigates the old massacre, battles the Blood Fiend Evil Sect, ventures into ancient sacred sites, and uncovers the truth behind the speech curse. When he finally reaches the summit of the Dao, the world will understand: silence is the pinnacle of the Puppet Dao.
